Commemoration Service 2009
COMMEMORATION SERVICE 2009 Wednesday 13 May 2009 at 6.15pm in Westminster Abbey We are delighted to announce that the 2009 Commemoration Service to commemorate the life and work of Florence Nightingale will be held in Westminster Abbey at 6.15pm on Wednesday 13 May 2009. During the Service the Procession of the Lamp takes place. The Lamp will be carried by a Scholar of the Foundation and will be escorted by student nurses from Schools of Nursing in Scotland. Entrance to the Service is by ticket only. These are free and available during March and April 2009. For security reasons it is important that you apply in writing or email us or use the proforma (click HERE for link) and the tickets will be sent to you as above. Tickets will be allocated on a first come first served basis. |
