Nursing Times Awards 2011

The Foundation was delighted to be involved in support for the Energise for Excellence Rising Star of the Year category at the Nursing Times Awards this year.

This category was open to Nurses within 5 years of qualification who were undertaking work within the Energise for Excellence framework in patient care quality improvement and evaluation. Our CEO was one of a panel of invited judges for the Award.

The Awards presentation evening was a glittering event held at The London Hilton with hundreds of guests.

The Award winner was Kerrie Naylor of Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Trust for her work in the area of improving the quality of care in rehabilitation. Congratulations to our 'Rising Star' and Kerrie will be presenting a masterclass with the National Programme Leads for Energise for Excellence at our conference on 8th and 9th March 2012 at the QEII Centre in London.

Also at the Awards two of the Foundation Leadership Scholars were shortlisted in the Nurse of the Year category. Congratulations to Elaine Inglesby and Hazel Holmes.
