The Foundation raises funds to provide scholarships for nurses, and midwives to study at home and abroad, to promote innovation in practice, to extend knowledge and skills to meet the changing needs of a modern health care system. The Foundation promotes the special contribution of nursing to society and to the health of people. It encourages international understanding and learning between nurses.
